Description:

McAfee Secure Messaging Service for Enterprise is a hosted e-mail security solution. It quarantines incoming and outgoing message threats such as spam, viruses, phishing scams, directory-harvest, and denial-of-service attacks.

Secure Messaging Service raises the level of your messaging security but requires no additional hardware, software, or IT staff. Your e-mail is re-directed through the McAfee servers where your mail traffic is scanned quickly before entering or leaving your network, with less than a one-second delay in transit. Centrally managed via its Web-based console, it helps you enforce corporate e-mail policies while safeguarding your users, customers, and business partners. E-mails trying to enter or leave are subject to real-time threat checking. Suspect messages are quarantined and prevented from passing through the perimeter.

Because McAfee regularly updates and upgrades its messaging security service, you save infrastructure cost and extend infrastructure life. With its support for encrypted Internet e-mail transmission, Secure Messaging Service protects your e-mail message content from unauthorized examination.

The enterprise edition of Secure Messaging Service support an unlimited number of domains and delivery IP address, while the small business edition supports five domains and one IP delivery address.

System Requirements:

Secure Messaging Service is a managed security service that resides outside your network, requiring no additional hardware, software or personnel to manage daily security operations.
